When we recorded this episode, we were in a different world. Donald Trump had been nominated as the GOP presidential candidate, but he had not yet accepted the nomination nor spoke in front of the Convention. This was this past Thursday evening, and if you’re listening to this now you know far more about what transpired than we did. We prognosticated as to what would happen during the speech, and you have the power to see if we were on track or completely off base.
We also spoke about the Republican National Convention in general — including some of the speakers, the scandal surrounding Melania Trump’s speech and its authorship, and the rocky start with delegates wanting to be “unbound” from their votes. This has been a fascinating election season so far, and it’s just the beginning!
